Remember I mentioned that I was heading to the ArtScience Museum last weekend? I was there to catch the Van Gogh and the Dali Exhibition. Oh, we caught the Shipwrecked Exhibition too but that wasn’t as fun and interesting as the former two.
(GTD: Blazer+Cami: Osmose; Jeans: Cotton On; Bag: LV; Shoes: Ferragamo; Watch: Tag Heuer; Earrings: Chanel; Brooch: Chomel; Necklace: F21; Rings: Tiffany and LeeHwa)
There were lots of Van Gogh and Dali quotes lining the walls of the museum and I particularly like this qoute..

However, perfection is not what I seek for I like being flawed.
I will post more another time.

I should have gotten the YSL Chyc. I know I should since I have been coveting for it since like forever. But I kept digressing along the way. I cant say no to Chanel. Who could?
And, I couldn’t say no to this baby either..

The Trevi is the latest Louis Vuitton in the family. And I think this could be my last LV. Cos I don’t really fancy LV that much but I do own a few and well, I needed a Damier that I can sling over the shoulder (my Damier Neverfull doesn’t count as a handbag – I use that to lug my scripts and laptop to work and the Alma, well now that I have this baby, the Alma has to go).

Oh, have I ever mentioned that paperbags dont last long in my household cos I have a paperbag terminator living with me?

I miss my Coco when I am at work. But he gets to my nerves when I am at home with him..

Just a few weeks ago, my boy plucked a leaf from my bamboo plant when I wasnt looking and brought it over to me – like some game.

Look at how he grabbed my hand with his paws as I tried to pull the leaf away from his jaws. He loves munching on leaves, much to my annoyance.

See what I mean? He wouldnt let go! By the time I managed to pry it away from him, the leaf was half-gone. Grrrrrrrrr! And his whole mouth smelt of grass!

As punishment, I banished him to his cage and he started to groom himself right after I plonked him in. He wasn’t fussed that obviously. Well, maybe slightly miffed looking at the glare he gave me here. Tsk tsk.
I am myopic. And I am blind without my glasses or contact lenses. I should go for lasik surgery but everytime I think about spending that money on the surgery and how there could be possible complications, I buy bags, or shoes instead. Pffftt.
My gf, Ann who is a Kate Spade addict got a pair of Millie peepers in late May and I like her Millie so much that I got myself a pair a week or so after.

Who can resist polka-dots?

I know I cant. Especially so when they are so affordable. Only SG$180!
Like Ann, I got the lenses changed (it wasnt cheap though cos the degrees of my eyes are quite high).
And well, guess what, I have not used these glasses yet eventhough I have had them for more than a month. Hmmmmm.

Teenagers – they can be sweet. But for most times, they are bloody defensive.
And incredibly CHILDISH.
And impossibly IMMATURE.
But then again, considering their youth, inexperience and wee little minds, what do they know? *shrugs shoulders*
I must say that it is not always difficult for me to realize that I am the bigger person.
Pssst: I work with teenagers by the way. Older teenagers – 17-20 year olds.
It is nothing new but I am always amazed at how the internet rounds clowns in rags (pun, very oh so most definitely, intended) together to form a circus.

My dear friends and readers,
I am ALIVE! Yes, I AM ALIVE!
Apologies if I only managed to read your emails just today cos they all went to my junk folder! And my blackberry only lets me read my push-mails that come through my inbox. I am sincerely very sorry
Guess what, my old Acer Aspire laptop died on me! Yes it finally gave way and went kapooooooot! There are other computers at home that I can use – the Acer netbook, the Macbook, the iPad (they all belong to the husband) and my rusty Fujitsu Lifebook which is my work laptop but I didn’t dare to spend too much time online cos work took an unexpected turn these past few weeks – so much so that I couldn’t trust myself to login and not digress from getting important work done!
Scenes like this were not uncommon during the past few weeks..

I was literally inundated with scripts! Besides an annual major event that I was in charge of at work, I had tonnes of scripts to grade and Coco was of no help at all. His tail kept swishing on my scripts as I marked and he kept thinking that I was playing with him when my red pen moved. In fact, he makes it seem as if he had been doing all the grading by plonking himself on my work here, doesn’t he? Pfffttt..
Oh and since I was laptop-less, I finally bought a new one…

A PINK VAIO! It was between the Vaio and the Macbook Air as I wanted something which is handbag-friendly but it couldn’t be a netbook. I didn’t want a netbook. I then decided that I wasn’t ready to change to Mac yet and plus, the Macbook didn’t come in pink. Heh. Look how it matches my Sony e-Reader which I got from New York a few years ago! And I’ve a pink hard-disk too so they are all matchy-matchy pinky! Heh..
I also managed to catch a couple of shows.
One being the Lion King at MBS…

It was fantastic! Mufasa (Simba’s dad) was so sexy!! (psst: An usher actually shone his torchlight at my face for snapping this photo from my blackberry. Opps. Heh.)

I watched the Lion King with Danielle at an incredible discount cos of her Singtel contact. We got great seats for $25!
Oh yeah, I got bangs now! I got sick and tired of my hair (what’s new?) and had my fringe cut!
And I also caught Kylie Minogue’s Aprodite Concert Tour 2 weeks ago…

I went with my dear secondary school friends from Cedar, Ilah and Mona…

The Cranberries are coming to Singapore again and I am contemplating if I should go. I caught them twice – once in Singapore when they had that joint-concert with No Doubt and once in Britain. But then again all the good seats are sold out and I don’t like like going to the indoor stadium if I don’t get to watch a concert from the side seats. I don’t really fancy sitting opposite the stage or on the free-standing area. Hmmmmm…
Just last week, one of my beloved girlfriends gave birth to a boy!

Yuana is the one carrying the baby! She had that goo all over the forehead. Don’t ask me what it is cos I really have no idea. Some herb paste that is supposed to aid new mommies in detoxing I was told…

Say hello to Baby Aydin Pasha!
Alrighty, Im gonna have to get ready to go meet my colleagues to visit the ArtScience Museum at MBS. Will continue blogging again real soon. Promise!
Have a great weekend ahead everyone! xx
