Whereas I do spend thousands of dollars on bags without blinking, I don’t believe in splurging thousands on a pair of shoes. Ferragamos are fine cos they cost only a few hundred dollars (the Vara bow ones that I like don’t go beyond a thousand) but anything else like Manolo Blahnik is a no-no. With that insane amount of money on one miserable pair of shoe, I can buy 50 pairs from Heatwave!
On 20th August 2009, the husband had surprised me with a huge paper bag from Jimmy Choo for our 1st year wedding anniversary.
My heart fell for I thought he had spent thousands buying me a pair of shoes. Shoes get stepped on! Shoes step on dirt! Shoes step on dirty floor! How can I let something worth thousands touch the ground!?

Well he actually got me the Dakar/S Hobo but I didnt like the Dakar/S so I went back to Jimmy Choo to either get a refund or have it exchanged. I didn’t fancy any of the shoes then so I got the Saba cos well, I prefer the Saba.. How can you resist the studs?!
NOW, as of NOW, NOW, I think I am almost ready to get my first 4-figure dollar pair of shoes. Not anytime soon though cos after yesterday’s impulsive lusty purchases, I would probably wait for a few more months. But look at these…
